Two prestigious clubs will face off in Seoul with their most elite rosters.

Manchester City and Atletico Madrid will face off in the second leg of the Coupang Play Series at Seoul World Cup Stadium at 8pm on October 30. Atletico faced Team K-League in the first leg and lost 2-3. This is City’s first match in the Coupang Play Series.

City will start with Ederson, Aymeric Laporte, Jubeng Dias, John Stones, Kyle Walker, Jack Grealish, Rodri, Bernardo Silva, Julian Alvarez, Elling Holland, and Phil Foden.

For Atlético, Jan Oblak, Mario Hermoso, Charleroi, Axel Witsel, Cesar Aspilicueta, Samuel Lino, Rodrigo de Paul, Koke, Thomas Lemar, Antoine Griezmann, and Alvaro Morata are in the starting lineup.

A match worthy of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) will take place in Seoul. The two teams are among the best in Europe. City has received an astronomical amount of funding since being acquired by United Arab Emirates (UAE) ruler Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. They started to improve in the early 2010s and are now one of the top teams in the English Premier League (EPL). Last season, they won the EPL, English FA Cup, and UCL, becoming the first English team to win the triple since Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United in 1998-99.

Now that they’re in the big leagues, City is making a concerted effort to market to Asia. Despite not having any Asian players on the first team, the club has continued to target South Korea, Japan, and China. This summer, the club organized an Asian tour, visiting Japan and culminating in South Korea. They have already visited Korea and are participating in various events.

Atletico is another Spanish La Liga powerhouse. Together with Barcelona and Real Madrid, they are classified as one of La Liga’s big three. In the early to mid-2000s, Atletico was often in the bottom half of La Liga or even in the second division, but since Diego Simeone took over, things have changed. The team broke the Barcelona and Real duopoly, won the La Liga title, and consistently reached the UCL final. They also won the UEFA Europa League (UEL) trophy.

Atletico, a La Liga powerhouse, also showed interest in marketing in Asia and traveled to South Korea to participate in the Coupang Play Series. Antoine Griezmann, Alvaro Morata, Koke, and other Atletico players performed fan service for the fans. Even though they lost the match against Team K League, they were so sincere that it felt like an official match instead of a preseason game.

Here’s why I’m looking forward to the Man City-Atletico match. Both teams will come out firing on all cylinders, even though it’s preseason, as they look to sharpen up for the season. It will be a star-studded matchup and a tactical battle between Guardiola and Simeone. 꽁머니사이트 The tournament is being held in South Korea, which is a first for the UCL, and Korean fans will be watching closely.

Three hours before kickoff, Seoul World Cup Stadium was abuzz with excitement. Gates opened three hours before kickoff, but even before that, the stadium was packed and parking was nearly impossible. There were some Atletico fans, but it was clear that Man City was the favorite.
